Hey mommies and daddies! Have you heard of the eighth grader who developed the app that toppled Angry Birds and became the No. 1 free app on the App Store in 2011? Well, you could introduce your children to the art and science of programming by enrolling them in a workshop that would teach them the basics of how to make apps for the iPhone and iPad. Who knows, they could be the next iOS prodigy or successful startup founder.
Numlock Solutions, in partnership with Power Mac Center, is holding a workshop on iOS app development for kids ages 7 to 11 this summer at Power Mac’s Apple Authorized Training Center in Makati City. The training will be conducted by our resident iOS expert and head honcho, Ramon Pastor (himself a dad to two iPad & iPhone app enthusiasts). The first batch will run on April 20 and 27, while the second batch is scheduled to run on May 11 and 18. Equipment will be provided at the training center.
